Black Holes and Revelations

For some reason, I never really heard of Muse until fairly recently, despite all the kiddies love for them and the two Dream Theater songs in the style of Muse. Well, that's not exactly true, Starlight used to be on the loop at work, but all I could really hear of it was it's catchy keyboard riff.

Fast forward to now, when Amazon makes this album available as a $5 MP3 download. So I pick it up, and I am glad I did. Muse comes off as a more polished, more progressive lovechild of The Killers and The Bravery, and put out some great tunes like Super Massive Black Hole, Map of The Problematique, and of course Knights of Cydonia.

I just regret that I didn't hear the greatness of Muse sooner.
