The Division Bell

I have said it before, and I will say it again. The Best Pink Floyd does not appear on The Wall, Dark Side of The Moon, and Wish You Were Here. It's sad that the radio and stoner baby boomers have made everyone think that. Nobody gives Division Bell a chance and everyone that slams it says "im not anti Gilmour or pro Waters." Of course they aren't. They're pro mainstream.

That Said, I don't think this album is better than Momentary Lapse of Reason, Meddle, or Animals. Or even that it's better than some of Floyd's "classic" albums, I'm just saying it's a lot better than people give it credit for.

Sure it's much more poppy and mainstream than earlier Floyd, but you can't expect any band that is not AC/DC to sound exactly the same 25 years after they started recording. What Do You Want from Me and Keep Talking are the two standout tracks, but the rest of the album isn't as terrible as everyone says. Give it a listen, you may just like it.
