The Fat of the Land
Back in 1996, the biggest thing in electronica was hard pumping, radio friendly, house music and then seeminly out of nowhere came The Prodigy with their 1997 release The Fat of the Lan, quite possibly the best electronic album of the decade, and yes I know that means I think it's better than The Downward Spiral.
The whole album is nonstop awesome from start to finish. While most people know this album because of Breathe, Firestarter, and of course, the controversy that erupted when Smack My Bitch Up was released as a single and MTV deciding to ban the song, to the tune of more money for all.
This unique blend of noise, rap, and bhangra themes make an awesome album. Electro-punk at it's finest.
