Only a Lad

Oingo Boingo's debut album is certainly an interesting one. It starts off with the ultra catchy, yet horrible to be caught singing along to, Little Girls. If you like weird melodies and strange lyrics, this album is pretty neat.

On the Outside and Only a Lad are the two mainstream-friendly tracks on the album and probably the best offerings. A close third would be Controller, but all of these sound a lot better either as the Boingo Alive re-recordings or Farewell versions.

This album is ok, it's nowhere near Nothing to Fear or Dead Man's Party, but it's not total garbage either.
