Secret Treaties

This is a classic album from the Blue Öyster Cult, quite possibly their best, and still is not recognized by casual listeners because it doesn't have the radio friendly singles that Agents of Fortune and Fire of Unknown Origin carried. In fact, it gets most press because Metallica decided to cover Astronomy on their Garage, Inc. album.

While a lot of the tracks could stand to use some post 1975 production values, they are solid as they appear on the album (thankfully Cult Classic was eventually released with re-recorded versions and better production).

Sure there's no Don't Fear the Reaper, Burnin For You, of Godzilla on this album, but ME262, Harvester of Eyes, and Flaming Telepaths more than make up for it.
