Much like the "Thats the Way the Buzz Goes" MTV commercial gave White Zombie and Better Than Ezra notice, it also propelled the ice cream truck driving Billy Cogan into the national conciousness.
I'm pretty sure I bought this album way back then just because all my friends were, too. Listening to it now, I still do like some tracks, but I never really got into the Smashing Pumpkins all that much. Their songs I liked the most arent even on this album.
That said, cherub Rock is pretty good, and Disarm is outstanding. The rest of the album I can leave in the 90s.
